Exciting News: JUNK is Now Supporting The NDIS
JUNK is now supporting the NDIS. We are proud to announce that we are now a registered NDIS service provider, assisting people living with a disability to improve their quality of life. Currently, over 500,000 Australians are provided with support under the NDIS, providing vital access to support and services for people living with a disability. JUNK brand’s mission from day one was to make a positive impact in our community, and through the NDIS we hope to be able to achieve that now more than ever.
So What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme provides funding to eligible people living with a disability so they can gain more independence and improved quality of life. The funding can be used for services and support nationwide ranging from access to furniture and mobility aids to cleaning or short-term care services.
How does JUNK tie in with this?
JUNK works with individuals and agencies to create a healthy and sustainable living environment through general rubbish removal and the provision of material aid under our Community Support Program. JUNK has forged positive relationships with agencies right across Australia, and our programs have played an important part in supporting our community to restore dignity and respect for all.
We are so proud to be a part of such an important social program. This will allow us to make a huge impact in our community.
JUNK is now supporting the NDIS. We welcome any NDIS service providers, support coordinators and plan managers to reach out and discuss how we may assist.
